Andrew Hryniewicz 1:16
So I'm Andrew Wayfinder Hryniewicz, and I'm an architect turned psychotherapist turned shamanic healer, and intuitive guide working here in London. And the topic here is destiny, following your destiny, doing what you're meant to do with your life is very personal to me, because it took me about 48 years to figure out what I was here to do with my life.
Andrew Hryniewicz 1:46
And in that process, I spent about the first 20 years being an architect and an ecological designer. And then in midlife, as I was turning 40, my mother died of cancer. And the wheels came off my life. And I had to do kind of a rather dramatic rethink of what was important. And also, at that time, face up to some traumas and things that had happened earlier in my life that I had been, you know, kind of pushing to the side.
Andrew Hryniewicz 2:14
Anyway, long story short, I got through that journey. And part of it was retraining and becoming a psychotherapist to help people in the ways that I had been helped to sort of find their way through difficult situations.
Andrew Hryniewicz 2:30
But I also had this lifetime experience of this little voice inside saying, "You know, this isn't it... keep looking."
Andrew Hryniewicz 2:38
I had this sense that there was something I was here to do. And, as much as I enjoyed the different things along the way, there was this continual prodding of "No, you know, keep looking."
Andrew Hryniewicz 2:53
And then about 10 years ago, little over 10 years ago, 12 years, 12 years ago, now, I stumbled into shamanism -- history's oldest form of wisdom seeking and healing. And this has completely transformed my life, opened me up to a radically different understanding of what human potential is, what we're here to do with our lives, and the kinds of powers and forces we can draw on.
Andrew Hryniewicz 3:22
So that's a little bit about, you know, how I came to be doing this podcast. Now, to give you a taste of how that's gonna work, is I'd like to take myself through my own podcast questioning process, give you an instance of how this is going to work, how it's going to unfold, and also to give you a little bit of a picture of who I am and what I do.
Andrew Hryniewicz 3:53
So the way the show works, is we open with me and the guest, and I do a very short introduction to the guest. And then I ask them 6 questions to be answered in 7 to 9 minutes.
Andrew Hryniewicz 4:09
So tell me, Andrew, who is your ideal client, and what's the transformation you help them achieve?
Andrew Hryniewicz 4:15
I'd say the clients I have come in kind of three flavors. The first is people who are largely executives, professionals and leaders, about two thirds women about a third men. And the first category are people who have been fairly successful, powerful, possibly quite privileged.
Andrew Hryniewicz 4:43
And they're feeling a sense that there's something missing. That they've reached the edge of that power and that privilege, and they're looking for more meaning, for more connection, for more purpose. That they've been very good at doing what's expected of them and what they were originally trained or asked to do, conditioned to do, but they now feel there's something more.
Andrew Hryniewicz 5:12
And they want to know how to reach it.
Andrew Hryniewicz 5:15
Sometimes this has been triggered by an internal hunger. And in sometimes it's been triggered by some sort of outside crisis or setback at work. It can also be triggered by getting into a new position, where all of a sudden the horizon has really opened up. And then it's like, "Okay, now what am I going to do?"
Andrew Hryniewicz 5:36
The other major thing would be people who see chaos, they see mess, they see problems and possibilities.
Andrew Hryniewicz 5:44
They have a sense that they want to change, to grow and inspire the world. Make a difference. And yet, they're having difficulty bringing that difference into form, into reality. Sometimes their internal blocks... there's a resistance, or there's a fear about stepping out.
Andrew Hryniewicz 6:05
And then the last is the more creative people, artists, painters, singers, or people who are trying to start a business or get something new into the world, they can feel this, this this desire, this need inside them... but they don't know how to give it birth, how to give it form.
Andrew Hryniewicz 6:24
So what's the biggest challenge that they face?
Andrew Hryniewicz 6:31
What I would say is that there are a lot of people in this world who seem together and successful and maybe quite privileged on the outside, who are actually carrying a lot of inner trauma, struggle and weight. That was certainly my experience.
Andrew Hryniewicz 6:48
And these traumas and struggles, not only limit them, their lives, keep them held back. But they can cause a lot of self destructive behavior and a lot of unhappiness.
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:01
And unfortunately, many people in these positions feel that to deal with these things is going to be a painful, long winded, difficult process. And they don't really have time to do it.
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:13
So they just push on, push on, push on... pushing it to the side.
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:16
That's kind of what I did until, you know, my mother's death just made things so loud, I couldn't ignore them.
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:23
What's your number one insight you can share to help them right now?
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:29
I'd say it's that, speaking as a therapist, insight and understanding -- of issues, problems, patterns -- is necessary, but definitely not sufficient.
Andrew Hryniewicz 7:41
And what I've discovered -- with the shamanic work and the energy work, and some of the other methods I work with -- is that there are ways to heal these traumas, these limitations, these experiences. Get them out of your nervous system, where they're having an impact, without having to talk about them endlessly.
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:00
It's very gentle, it's very quick. And this frees you up to get back to living and enjoying the life you've worked so hard to create, and it frees you up to make the difference you want to be making, and do what your soul is really here to do. And that's really what I'm about.
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:19
Question number four, what concept book program or talk has been the most impactful in your experience?
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:26
There have been a lot but I would say that the biggest one was actually stumbling into shamanism, into humanity's oldest form of healing and wisdom seeking.
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:38
Finding that our ancestors discovered very, very powerful tools and methods for accessing levels of our mind, levels of our unconscious, to do really quite extraordinary things.
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:52
And a corollary to that is also discovering that we're not alone.
Andrew Hryniewicz 8:57
We are part of... we are surrounded by intelligence, power, wisdom and concern that wants to help us and that we can engage with and draw on. And once we learn how to do that, you know, literal miracles are possible.
Andrew Hryniewicz 9:16
What free resource would you like to share with our audience?
Andrew Hryniewicz 9:20
Let's say go to my website, AndrewWayfinder.com. And you can download a "Quantum Energy Healing Meditation." It's about 12 minutes long. And it's a process I guide you through some instructions with shamanic drumming of the background to help focus and relax your mind.
Andrew Hryniewicz 9:44
And it helps you to go into the energy center for your physical body, for your emotional body, for your mental body, and for your spiritual body to energize, align and coordinate all four of them so it's very refreshing. It's very grounding. And it does a lot to balance and relax and refresh you.
Andrew Hryniewicz 10:11
And then finally, number 6. What should I have asked you that I didn't?
Andrew Hryniewicz 10:14
I'd say that would be why? Why are you doing this? Why do you do what you do?
Andrew Hryniewicz 10:21
And as I said, it took me 48 years to figure out... when I did my own destiny retrieval back in 2008, discovering what my soul had come here to do. And also seeing what was stopping me from doing it and healing those limitations, those beliefs. And those agreements that I'd made at the soul level.
Andrew Hryniewicz 10:44
That completely transformed and opened up my life to do what I was here to do, which is essentially, to help other people do what they're meant to do with their life.
Andrew Hryniewicz 10:54
That it's my experience and belief that every soul comes here with experiences it wants to have, gifts it wants to share, things it wants to learn, changes it wants to make. We're all... we all have this unique gift to give to the world that expresses who we really are. But the real challenge is, "Well then how do we take that gift and make it valid?"
Andrew Hryniewicz 11:19
How do we bring it into form. And I think that's where a lot of people struggle.
Andrew Hryniewicz 11:24
And that's where my work and my passion is, is to help people connect with that gift and bring it into life. Because I think the whole purpose of life and evolution is for things, for life, for the world to become bigger, richer, more complicated, more beautiful, more complex, more interconnected.
Andrew Hryniewicz 11:43
So anything I can do to to support that. I will.
Andrew Hryniewicz 11:49
So that's the Destiny Insurrection Interviews, and I'm looking forward to bringing interesting guests to share their visions, their insights, their understandings, and their resources to you each week in a short, crisp, easily digestible form. For your own enjoyment, success and growth.
